"EP" Stereo Preamplifier

This circuit is virtually devoid of any wiring – principally a single, high quality, double sided PTH fibreglass printed circuit board with a small sub-board of equal quality attached to the front panel providing micro-processor and display information. All signal tracks on the circuit boards are as short as possible. Input selection is achieved via sealed DIL relays for superior signal transfer. The

“EP” features an extremely stable, low-noise, digitally controlled analogue volume control. No component is there for a ‘free ride’, with all being ‘put through their paces’ to establish absolute proof that their inclusion within the circuit will make a positive contribution to the overall performance of the pre amplifier. Front panel switches allow selection of input and volume levels. Tone controls and other

switches only risk extra noise and distortion. If what you want is to listen to good music sounding great, all you need is the Perreaux “EP”. Simple is pure. The fact is that the quality of music reproduction from this new generation pre amplifier is so good that we are sure it will successfully render many rival high-priced esoteric pre amplifiers obsolete.
