The reviews keep rolling in for our Audiant 80i integrated amplifier.

Recently, Russian magazine Hi-Fi.ru reviewed our Audiant 80i integrated amp and it acheived a 95% overall rating – including 95% for both sound and build quality.

Reviewer Alex Skorpilev was impressed with the amp's "naturalness" and "accuracy of the sound" and sums up the Audiant 80i:

“The greatest merit of the amplifier is in its musicality. Each time, replacing differing in content of the phonogram, confronted with the fact that it is difficult to stop playing and curb their desire to listen to a record to the end”

Ken Kessler reviewed our Audiant 80i integrated amplifier in the July 2011 issue of Hi-Fi News & Record Review – where it earned an 'Highly Commended' award.

Russian magazine hifinews.ru reviews our Audiant 80i integrated amp and it receives their "TOP 2012" award.

Reviewer Andrew Sasinovsky was impressed with the sound and versatility of the Audiant 80i rating it 10 out of 10 for both sound and functionality. He described the sound as "lively, free and natural" and regarding functionality it had "an impressive arsenal of features".

Andrew liked the built-in 24/96 DAC and MM phono stage, and the high power output given the compact size of the 80i.

With all things taken into account it's easy to see why hifinews.ru gave the Audiant 80i integrated amplifier their highest praise.

Ron Claassen reviews our Audiant 80i Integrated Amplifier on his audio blog alongside cables from UK manufacturer Black Rhodium.

Ron enjoyed the "superior sound" when using the on-board 24-bit/96kHz DAC of the Audiant 80i integrated amp with his Slim Devices Transporter.

In conclusion, Ron says:

“...if you're looking for a high quality, analog, stereo integrated amplifier, include the Perreaux Audiant 80i in your choices next to the 'standard list' of other brands.”

It's that time of year again, hi fi magazines and audio publications handing out their Best of 2011 gear awards.

Flicking through the latest issue of Tone magazine, we were pleasantly surprised to discover they had awarded our Audiant 80i Integrated Amplifier "Best Stereo Amplifier" in the 2011 Best of the Year Tone Awards.

It's fantastic to have the hours of hard-work and dedication that went into making the Audiant 80i a reality recognised and rewarded in this way.

The 80i continues to be enjoyed and well-reviewed around the World, recently we received a letter from an ecstatic and very proud owner of an Audiant 80i integrated amplifier who writes:

“The sound is truly astonishing. The clarity and definition is extraordinary. On occasions, the sound is actually too good – one now hears the imperfections – the click of a piano pedal, or the performer's breathing.”

Receiving 'Best of the Year' awards are flattering and it's nice to have industry recognition, but it's the feedback and 'Thank you' letters like this that really make us smile.

The reviews keep coming for our Audiant 80i Integrated Amplifier, this time Russian magazine High Definition reviews it in their December issue.

The Audiant 80i received a 5 star overall rating from High Definition and in conclusion they found:

“Perreaux Audiant 80i works great as a power amp and very good in the role of the DAC. It will be an excellent starting point for high quality music system with a great stepping stone for the future, if desired, will significantly improve the system through the purchase of individual blocks phono or better external DAC and thus would not be a limiting component of the sound exactly as the power amplifier.”

Our Audiant 80i integrated amplifier continues to be well-reviewed around the World, with the latest review coming from esteemed French hi-fi audio magazine Haute Fidélité.

Reviewer Patrice Philippe found "the Audiant 80i has an extended bandwidth, especially low frequency. On several tracks, we enjoyed quite unusually deep bass", and he continues "despite this, it is not highlighted and the sound spectrum is balanced".

This seems to be a common finding with the Audiant 80i; Marek Dyba was similarly impressed by its ability to reproduce bass in his review of the Audiant 80i for High Fidelity. The small stature of the Audiant 80i is deceiving, but it's clear that the 80i is no slouch when reproducing bass frequencies.

High Fidelity magazine from Poland recently reviewed our Audiant 80i Integrated Amplifier.

Reviewer Marek Dyba was impressed by the performance of the Audiant 80i, particularly in the lower registers:

“...in my opinion, the bass is perfect for acoustic recordings – even the double bass – it allows a natural softness to appreciate the sound of the strings...”

Our Audiant 80i Integrated Amplifier, or "Digital Stereo Receiver" as Mike Wechsberg calls this relatively new class of amplifier, was recently reviewed in Russia by Salon AudioVideo magazine and Stereo & Video magazine.

The first thing the reviewer for Salon AudioVideo found was:

“the complete neutrality of the amplifier, the lack of even the slightest veil, the desire to hide, or, conversely, to emphasize any nuances.”
