Our award-winning Audiant DP32 USB DAC preamp and 100p stereo power amp have just been reviewed by HIFI4ALL.DK.

Reviewed by Mikkel Gige, he compared the sound of the DP32 to that which he has only ever heard from vinyl and one other digital source:

“It is a huge achievement, as DP32 can be quite proud of. I have only experienced the same "analog" sound from one other digital player...”

You'll need to read the review to find out what player that was, although I will tell you it starts with 'M' and costs three times as much as the DP32.

Audio Video Magazine recently reviewed our Audiant DP32 USB DAC preamp and matching 100p stereo power amp in their October issue.

Reviewer William Kelly loved his time spent with the DP32/100p pre-power combination although, just like any self-respecting South African, he managed have a dig at us Kiwis in the process, particularly our national rugby team – the All Blacks.

William, might I remind you that the All Blacks are the current Rugby World Cup holders, won this year's Rugby Championship AND retained the Bledisloe Cup... need I say more? :-)

Richard from New Zealand has assembled his ultimate home theatre audio system using Perreaux amplifiers and preamps – including two of our reference Prisma 350 stereo power amps and a 6160 six-channel power amp, along with the Prisma SM6 MkII and Audiant DP32 preamps and our Prisma CD1 CD player.

“Forget attacks in the dark or subtleties or nuances. The reason why I went down the Perreaux path was completely all about the sound. The first time I ever heard a 350 was when I went to audition some JBL Ti-10ks that I saw on Trademe just over a year ago. The seller had bi-wired them with a couple of Accuphase power amps controlling the mids and trebles and the 350 was controlling the woofers. And when I say control I mean full on domination. Grip beyond anything I had ever seen or heard. Normally an amp will have a speaker on a leash but these appeared to be physically joined at the hip. I knew at that moment that my other amps were about to be given the cold shoulder.

In their latest review Salon Audio Video test the Audiant DP32 USB DAC preamp and matching 100p stereo power amp.

They found the pre/power combination had "perfect musical balance" and "the upper range was pure and transparent, without sounding the slightest bit mechanical".

The reviews of our Audiant DP32 USB DAC Preamp are starting to roll in. First-up is Russian audio magazine Hi-Fi-ru.

In their October issue Hi-Fi.ru reviews the Audiant DP32 and award it a 95% overall rating – including 95% for both sound and build quality.

Reviewer Maria Savina was impressed with the preamp's "splendid articulation" and "tonal smoothness" and found the sound of the DP32 "alive and moving".
