General Features

Trigger input and output

The Trigger Input allows the standby status of the CDt to be controlled by a remotely connected device, while the Trigger Output allows the standby status of a connected device to be controlled by the CDt. The standby status of the system can be set with the convenience of a single button.

Infrared (IR) input

The IR Input allows the CDt to use an external IR receiver to enable the unit to be conveniently located in a cabinet where line-of-sight to the IR recevier would ordinarily be blocked. The IR Input also allows the CDt to be directly connected to smart home system controllers from Xantech™, Niles™, etc.

Infrared (IR) output

The IR Output relays infrared commands received by the internal IR recevier on the front panel of the CDt or the IR Input on the rear panel. Connecting compatible devices to this output allows the CDt to pass through infrared commands to the connected device.

Smart Home Integration

The CDt can easily integrate into any smart home, using the RS-232 port at the rear of the amplifier and interfacing to devices from the likes of Control4™, AMX™ and Crestron™. Coupled with the IR Input and Trigger Input, smart home integration has never been easier.

Isolation Feet Options

To minimize vibrations, aftermarket "feet" can be easily attached if desired. Also, the éloquence has the ability to go from 4 feet to 3 feet to further ensure mechanical isolation.
